So, I am not sure how many of these reviews are legitimate and how many are just paid for, but I literally live up the hill from this shop on High St. In the past, I have used their services and they would call and discuss pricing with you, before making a repair. I dropped my car off for a TPMS sensor replacement. Mind you, I have a TMPS reactivation tool and knew exactly that it was my right rear tire that had the faulty sensor in it. This is a job in which you: break the seal on the tire, unscrew the old sensor, screw back in the new sensor, and re-inflate the tire, then you used the reactivation tool to "train" the tires back to the system. My expectation was that I would drop my truck off (I had made an appointment the week before) and that it would take about an hour and be about $100. TMPS sensors (even FORD parts) are only $35. I was charged $80. The labor cost was $108 for what I just described, something that takes about a half hour with the right lift and tools. They kept my car for three hours. This repair literally cost double what it was supposed too and took twice as long as it should have. There is always an "Andover Tax" as we call it our house. Vendors charge more when you live in this town because they all suffer from the delusion that everyone in town is super rich and we are literally too stupid to look up the price of parts on the internet. This was shocking. I miss Steve. I won't be back.
