I went in with damage to my chassis cover, a non-essential part of the car that was dragging on the road. I spoke with the guys about fixing it and said, “Feel free to take it off if you need to.” They kept it on and put some bolts into the plastic cover to secure it. Low and behold, that weekend we had to drive to visit family and after a few hours on the road, the ENTIRE front part of the cover was dragging, not just the small portion that was dragging earlier. Not only did they not fix the issue, the car ended up more broken after their $90 repair. We had to bring the car in right away where we were and the guys at this other shop charged a flat $30 to remove the cover—the thing I had requested in the first place. When I called the service center to air my concern, my driving was called into question. “Why did you need the repair in the first place?” Infuriating. I requested a partial refund ($60 to cover the difference between repairs) and was told the manager would get back to me. Since I have receipts and a chip on my shoulder, I mentioned that I have a small claims case here. The guy on the phone said, “Okay, my manager will definitely call you this afternoon.” Ha. That was over a month ago. I’m upset about this because I am a young woman with little car expertise. If you are like me or just a person not confident with cars, do not trust this shop. Based on my experience, they will take advantage of you if given the opportunity.
